When an Online Student Edition is initially accessed, only the cover of the book will be loaded. To access subsequent sections you will need to use the Bookmarks tab found on the left hand side of the window the book opened in. If you do not see this tab, look for a blue ribbon icon on the extreme left hand side of the window. If the Bookmarks tab is still not accessible or the links within this tab do not function, see instructions below:
Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari are recommended.
If you have downloaded and installed Adobe DC, please uninstall Adobe DC and install Adobe version 22.214.171.124 on Windows PC’s or Version 10.6 on MAC.
Firefox has recently added its own PDF viewer, to view our book please change your settings to open the PDF with Adobe Reader in Firefox. (Tools > Options > Applications > scroll through the list and find "Portable Document Format" , out on the right - click "Use Adobe Acrobat in Firefox" **Click OK*)
Internet Explorer 9 may have compatibility issues with Online Student Editions, depending on settings/group policy. If an issue is encountered using Internet Explorer 9, try Firefox.
Ensure that you have installed the correct version of Adobe reader (Version 10.6) and then follow the below steps to enable the plugin.
You will need to accept the Adobe EULA for the files to open. Please use Finder and locate a PDF file on your computer. Choose to open the file with Adobe Reader and accept the end user license that pops up. Now you can close Adobe Reader.
Open Safari > Select Safari tab > Preferences > Security tab > Manage Website Settings button > Choose Adobe Reader from the list > Choose Allow Always under “When visiting other websites”
This file will no longer open in Chrome Browsers. NPAPI plugins such as Adobe will are no longer supported on Chrome. For more information, take a look at this blog post http://blog.chromium.org/2014/11/the-final-countdown-for-npapi.html. This change occurred in September 2015.

What is the username and password or access code you are using to access your text?
What is your operating system and version (ex. Windows 8, Mac OSx 10.8)
What is your browser type and version? (ex. Internet Explorer 10, Chrome 43)
What version of Adobe Reader do you have installed?
